The European Directive aims to increase transparency for consumers, addressing key aspects for websites and e-commerce such as:
- management of reviews
- communication during price reductions
- sales conditions on marketplaces
This e-commerce site undertakes to comply with the Omnibus Directive regarding price change management, which provides:
"Any announcement of a price reduction indicates the previous price applied by the professional for a specific period before the reduction. 'Previous price' means the lowest price applied by the professional to the generality of consumers during the thirty days prior to the price reduction."
*Excluded cases: sales of perishable agricultural and food products; products placed on the market for less than 30 days.
